Room sizes vary in all accommodation types. There are several different types of housing accommodations offered in the building. Whittier Hall is located at 1230 Amsterdam Avenue (at the corner of 120th Street). Units are furnished with a full XL bed, desk, desk chair, stove, refrigerator, microwave, floor lamp, bookshelf, chest of drawers and/or wardrobe. Private room with private bathroom and kitchen. Units are furnished with a twin XL bed, desk, desk chair, refrigerator, microwave, floor lamp, bookshelf, chest of drawers and/or wardrobe. Private room with a private bathroom and shared kitchen access. Most units have shared common kitchens distributed throughout the building. The modern building opened in September 2004 and contains 252 units, all with private bathrooms. New Residence Hall is located at 517 W 121st St. Residents are responsible for setting up their own ConEd account. * - Electricity is paid separately to ConEd. Each unit is furnished with: Full XL size bed, desk, desk chair, armoire/closet, chest, floor lamp, microwave, and refrigerator Private apartment with eat-in kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.
